Upon arriving, I settled into my hotel room before finding a cinema where I could see <em>Lincoln</em>. <span>Fortunately, there was one not far from the hotel so I set out. </span></p> <p><span><br/></span></p> <p><span>Springfield, being the capital of the “Land of Lincoln” seemed an appropriate venue to see Spielberg’s film. What I didn’t realize is that Lincoln’s tomb is also in Springfield. With time to kill (forgive the pun) before my flight out of town, I decided to visit. Fortunately, I had no trouble finding it and managed to take a few photos despite the cold. This has taken me some pretty interesting places (like the pit at Southern California’s Stagecoach festival). This particular shot was at Portland, OR’s Roseland Theater. </p> <p>Featured is Dan Reynolds, lead singer of Imagine Dragons. I interviewed ID in 2009 for USD Radio when a friend from high school was part of the group.
